Low Tide at the Beach

Enjoy low tide at Lincoln Park and Constellation Park (south side of Alki Point) on a variety of dates in late spring and summer. Volunteer beach naturalists will be on hand to guide exploration and answer questions.

Come visit one of the most important buildings in our neighborhood’s history! The Fauntleroy Schoolhouse turns 100 in 2017, and this is one of several events celebrating a century of serving the community. Activities include alumni contact information, memorabilia, photos, and recorded interviews with alumni and other Schoolhouse tenants. The West Seattle Helpline’s annual Taste of West Seattle combines the best food and drinks West Seattle has to offer. Your ticket includes over two hours of taste bud enlightenment as you sample dishes, desserts, and drinks from local establishments. In one delicious evening, this event features something for everyone’s palate. You will discover new favorite establishments in the process! This event often sells out early—buy your ticket soon on Brown Paper Tickets. General admission is $50 ($52.74 w/service fee). VIP tickets are $95 ($99.32 w/service fee), which gives you early admission (6 p.m.), VIP seating, and more. Note: Must be 21 and over. All IDs will be checked at the door.
